We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to ensure the smooth management and running of our popular Sports Club Bar. 


Main Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all guests receive the highest standards of customer service
  • Full day to day running and management of the bar
  • Responsible for the recruitment, management, training and development of all bar staff
  • Responsible for effective stock management and stock counts
  • Responsible for ordering and buying of stock
  • Assist in the organisation of club events
  • Responsible for the booking and managing of private functions
  • Responsible for membership and basic club administration including cashing up

Knowledge/Skills & Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer facing management role (Preferably within the pub/club industry)
  • The ability to motivate, inspire and train a small team
  • The ability to work independently and using own initiative
  • A full hands-on approach and desire to lead by example
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Able to work in an efficient and organised manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

As well as a competitive salary based on experience, the club offers essential training, free on-site parking, contributory pension scheme, 4 weeks paid holiday a year.

This role is full time and will include some daytime duties, although most working shifts are evenings. Due to the nature of the role we are looking for someone who can be fully flexible in their working patterns and be prepared to sometimes work beyond their required duties to fulfil club requirements. It should be noted that weekend working and some late nights is a requirement of this role.

We are seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to ensure the smooth running of our popular Sports Club Bar. 


Main Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the day to day running and management of the bar
  • To ensure all guests receive the highest standards of customer service
  • To assist in the recruitment, management, training and development of all bar staff
  • Responsible for effective stock rotation, stock counts and ordering
  • To assist is the organisation of club events and private functions
  • To deputise for the Club Manager during periods of absence

Knowledge/Skills & Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer service environment (Preferably within the pub/club industry)
  • The ability to motivate, inspire and train a small team
  • The ability to work independently and using own initiative
  • A hands-on approach and desire to lead by example
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Able to work in an efficient and organised manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

As well as a competitive hourly rate, the club offers essential training, free on-site parking, contributory pension scheme, 4 weeks paid holiday a year (pro rata) and paid overtime.

This role is part time with an average of 26 hours per week, however this will vary during busy periods and when required to deputise for the Club Manager. Weekly hours can be negotiable in return for the right candidate. Due to the nature of the role we are looking for someone who can be flexible in their working patterns. It should be noted that weekend working and some late nights is a requirement of this role.

We are seeking Casual/Part Time Bar Staff to join our popular Sports Club Bar. 

Main Responsibilities:

·       To ensure all guests receive the highest standards of customer service

·       To work at pace ensuring all guests are served in a timely manner

·       Collection, washing and re-stocking of glasses.

·       Re-stocking of bar fridges ensuring effective stock rotation

·       To ensure all working area’s and guest areas are kept clean and tidy

·       To assist in the smooth running of club events and private functions

Knowledge/Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bar experience preferred but not essential providing you are willing to learn quickly
  • The ability to work independently and using own initiative
  • A hands-on approach and desire to lead by example
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Able to work in an efficient and organised manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
